Annual Own Source Revenue (OSR) Growth Conference 2026.
IGRTC Chairman CPA Kithinji Kiragu today joined national and county leaders at the Annual Own Source Revenue (OSR) Growth Conference, officially opened by Ahmed Abdullahi, Chairperson of the Council of Governors, with a keynote address delivered by Michael Lenasalon, Principal Secretary, State Department for Devolution. Themed “Catalyzing Subnational Growth through Sustainable Financing and Revenue Innovation.”
In his remarks, the Chairman underscored the critical link between national and county laws in land administration, noting that clear delineation of functions is essential to unlocking counties’ potential to enhance their own source revenue.
He reaffirmed IGRTC’s central role in advancing the implementation of devolution and called for strict compliance with the law by both levels of government in managing land-related functions.
The conference brought together policymakers, governance experts, and leaders from across the country to exchange ideas and chart a path toward stronger, self-sustaining county economies.
