IGRTC hosted delegation from the East Africa Local Government Forum (EALGF).

The purpose of the visit was to understand IGRTC’s mandate and explore avenues for collaboration and support in implementing the Kampala Communique recommendations, particularly those aligned with the Kenya Retreat resolutions.

This engagement is key to fostering intergovernmental relations, strengthening partnerships that drive regional integration and development, and contributing meaningfully to the shared goals of the East African Community.

The IGRTC Chairman appreciated the visit and expressed the Committee’s readiness to partner with EALGF in strengthening the East African Community's collaborations.
