Training on Court Annexed Mediation (CAM) by the Mediation Accreditation Committee.

The resolution of intergovernmental disputes through ADR mechanisms is an enabler of effective service delivery by the two levels of government to citizens. This is in line with Articles 189 (3), 159 (2) (c) of the Constitution, and the IGR Act, 2012.

As part of efforts for bolstering the mandate of resolving intergovernmental disputes, IGRTC in partnership with the Judiciary, conducted training to board members and the secretariat on Court Annexed Mediation (CAM). This is part of efforts by the judiciary in conjunction with stakeholders to mainstream multi-door approach in access to justice.

The team was  led by Hon Justice George Odunga, CAM secretariat, IGRTC chairman Kithinji Kiragu, Members and IGRTC secretariat.
